Just about 30 minutes by car from our B&B in Rosà, you will discover the picturesque village of Possagno, birthplace of the famous sculptor Antonio Canova. Dominated by the majestic Canovian Temple designed by the artist himself, the village offers a unique mix of architecture, art and nature.
Strolling through its quiet streets you can visit the Canovian Plaster Cast Gallery, where plaster models, sketches and paintings tell the story of Canova's life and inspiration. Don't miss the climb to the dome of the Temple: from there you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the surrounding hills.
Possagno is also the ideal starting point for exploring the surroundings, the Grappa hills, vineyards and nature trails await you. For those staying with us, it is the perfect destination for a morning or afternoon getaway.
We recommend scheduling your visit between 9 and 12 or in the late afternoon, to enjoy the best light and the tranquility of the village.
