ASOLO

Asolo is a charming Venetian village, hilly, compact, and rich in history: the poet Giosuè Carducci called it “the city of a hundred horizons” for the many panoramic views it offers.
Over the centuries, it has been a destination for nobles, artists, and intellectuals, for example, Queen Caterina Cornaro held her court here, and the actress Eleonora Duse lived here.
Today it is also recognized with the Orange Flag of the Italian Touring Club for the quality of its hospitality and the beauty of the place.
Rocca di Asolo: medieval fortress located on the top of the hill overlooking the village. From there you can enjoy a spectacular view of the hills and, on clear days, all the way to the Venetian lagoon.
Asolo Castle (or Queen Cornaro’s Castle): one of the village’s symbolic buildings that combines history, architecture, and ancient atmospheres.
Historic center: with its narrow streets, arcades, picturesque little squares, the Cathedral (Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta (Asolo)) and scattered artistic evidence.
Panorama & nature: thanks to its hilly position, Asolo offers magnificent views and pleasant walks in the surroundings, perfect for those who want to relax and enjoy the view.
Food & wine & tradition: the area is also known for its typical products, oil, Morlacco cheese, and local wines that can enrich your visit.
